A criteria refers to a standard that a website can follow in order to create a user journey for a specific task. It help to determine whether a website is following the best practices to engage its users.

A CTA (Call To Action) element is an active element that is visually promoted.

A CTA can be part of bigger elements and can be positioned on a landing page. It can include an explanatory text to describe the consequence of the action of the user.

A journey step refers to each part of the process that the user goes through to accomplish the desired task. It can include the first button pressed to the last screen before ending the process. For example in this project, one journey step is the choice of the mean of payment, another is the choice of the amount, etc.

A session is the record of a user journey of a website in a specific time span. It includes the steps a user takes when browsing the website and it can change in every revision based on the updates made on the website.

Survey is a project to assess user journeys on published web projects to conduct research for developing new solutions and identifying best practices.

A widget is an interactive element that contains smaller elements. The whole element can accomplish a more complex task than a button and is usually used to do a task by itself.

A widget will allow the user to create interactions and take decisions on the same page. It can lead the user to proceed with your expected outcome.
